One of the items I ordered did not arrive in my parcel. An additional item I did not order was included instead. When I contacted evergreen about this they at first refused to refund my payment for the product. I contacted CCP.ie to ask if this was legal, they informed me it was not. I relayed this to the customer service team. They told me that they would only issue a refund if I returned to them the item they sent me by mistake. I was happy to return the item I didn’t order but was uncomfortable with the fact that they first attempted to get out of the refund and now were offering a conditional refund because of their mistake. Again CCP.ie clarified that it is not legal. The customer service rep was uneducated about consumer rights and protection and refused a refund until they got their wrongfully posted product back. I eventually had to make a claim through PayPal to get my money back for an order I never received. In addition to customer service team being uneducated in the basics of consumer law they were also rude as I attempted to rectify their error.
