“I bought this kit to replace my A/T Wheels on my GTR Bamboo. The conversion took about 15 minutes to complete and was relatively painless. The wheels look really nice on the bamboo too.
Initially I was a little worried about having less traction but that was forgotten the minute I got on the board! Compared to the A/T's, these have more contact surface and provide more than enough grip while riding at speeds of around 25 - 30km/hr. You're a lot lower to the ground too, which makes you feel far more planted while riding.
I really love the way these wheels carve too. It has just enough "give" to make it feel like you're snowboarding, but not too much that you get that "oh sh*t" feeling.
The one thing that I still need to get used to is the feedback you get when riding on more abrasive roads. You definitely feel everything you ride over. If you live near bike/beach paths, these are perfect!”
