“Complete waste of money. Fell for the slick marketing more of a scrapper than a razor tried a few times to like it but now in the over hyped under delivered draw never to be used again”
Hi Andrew, thanks for your review - sorry to hear you are not enjoying using the OneBlade razor.
Please see this link from the OneBlade razor site which may help you get the best from the razor: www.onebladeshave.com/pages/how-to-shave-with-oneblade_angleandpressure
If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to get in touch at info@executive-shaving.co.uk.
Best wishes, Ally
“Maybe it’s me and I may not have got the hang of using it correctly as it didn’t quite give me the smooth shave I was looking for compared to a D.E. razor but I like the thinking and the simplicity.”
Hi Riccardo, thanks for your review. The technique required with the OneBlade is slightly different to using a DE razor and may take a little time to perfect. Give it a few more shaves and if you're still not getting the desired result then get in touch and we can hopefully help you master it.
“Not for me really. I’m still not happy with the shave and the blades don’t last long.. but I’ve tried and that’s all I can do.. might be good for others maybe..”
Hi Raymond, thanks for your review. The OneBlade Core should be treated more like a cartridge razor than a safety razor. Therefore, you do need to apply more pressure than you would if you were shaving with a safety razor. We would advise that you persevere for a few more shaves and apply more pressure (making sure you have plenty of lather on your face). If you are still having trouble please email info@executive-shaving.co.uk and we can hopefully give you more guidance.
“It may be that the core is a poor man's friend to the genesis, don't be fooled, it is a seriously good razor, comfortable and easy to use, first time shavers and those looking to change from cartridge will not be dissapointed ,blades are a wee bit more than DE blades , worth it ? Oh yes.”
