“I was given Castle Forbes 1485 shaving cream on my 75th birthday and it bowled me over. Since then I have wanted to try the other Castle Forbes scents but was not prepared to punt £65 (or £95) on a smell I might not particularly like. The Collection has enabled me to try and compare them all for a modest outlay, and though they all smell good I am slowly working out my preferences by a process of elimination. My favourite looks likely to be Neroli Special Reserve which is a shame as it costs an extra £30 but it is sensational and I'd rather pay for quality than get indifference on the cheap.”
