“I purchased the Cold Steel War Hawk to take occasionally camping and bush. Great size and sharp on delivery. Only 1 minus and that is the handle can be a bit slippery, however I always remedy this with any of my working edgeware by using lizard skin grips which works a treat for grip.”
“I am impressed by the warhark, I have the Trench-hawk so had high expectations but this axe blew them away. Throws great, cuts like a full sized axe, no hotspots on the handle and the spike is great to pierce, pry, roll & pull logs around without excess effort. It's only early days but it's held up to a week of abuse without a mark. Love the hard case sheath, no fear of cutting yourself when it's fitted and light wieght in the axe ring dangler on my belt, but will probable end up mollied to my day pack - couldn't be happier with the axe or Extacs service and quick delivery. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a thrower or a multi-purpose tomahawk that cuts above it's wieght.”
