“The course was informative, the instructors and team were extremely helpful and encouraging. They gave great suggestions on how to market and promote doing Botox and dermal fillers. Looking forward to adding this services to my office to help more people!!!”
“The online course material is very thorough. I love how we continue to have access before and after the hands on training. During the hands on course, I love how the instructors point out anatomy on each patient and how they would approach the case.
I like the quick review in class was presented. Online, I like how it was in depth with the materials and demonstration.
For the hands on course, my class had Dr. Cara Glickman who has great patience and extremely knowledgeable with the material. She was transparent and gave us good tips and tricks.
The other instructor, Dr. Olinga Hargreaves, is knowledgeable with the materials but she is EXTREMELY condescending. She would make unnecessary comments such as "I don't care what you do in class, I still get paid either way. Why would you do that? That makes no sense. Was I talking to myself? I've mentioned this in class already."
Her demeanor was not encouraging at all. It was a challenge to ask her for help because of how she demeaning she is. We were split up into two groups in order to learn how to do Botox and fillers in a timely manner. I like the idea on splitting the group in order to speed up the training. I ended up with Dr. Olinga, and it was uncomfortable to have an abrasive instructor. I would have to go to Dr. Glickman in order to learn.
I want to be able to learn, but not at the cost to be questioned and attacked by her whether I comprehend her or not. It didn't appear that this is her first time teaching, but even if it was, I hope she understands that her style has certainly been aggressive in our class.
It is clear that Dr. Olinga is very knowledgeable, but her style of "teaching" needs improvements. We are amongst fellow colleagues, not children.
I like how forms and forums are available on the AAFE website. It is a handy tool to have when a constructive collaborations is needed.”
