“I feel like I learned so much in this course. The online portion was comprehensive and relevant, and the hands-on portion was efficient and educational. This was a really valuable course and I’m excited to take what I’ve learned back to my patients! I feel very confident in the material covered.”
“I did like the program. The didactic content was effective in preparing me for the live patient portion. The mentors were supportive, good at providing instruction and very helpful with questions about workflow and bringing these services to patients. I would have liked to have more time spent diagnosing and treatment planning all of our patients that came to the event in hopes of seeing variations in treatment for the ideal, golden propotion face, and identifying subtle expressions or features/variations in anatomy that require modifications to treatment (e.g. a woman with tattooed eyebrows that were not ideal shape). Would have loved to have seen/heard more of the cases that were an unexpected challenge for our mentors as new injectors. There is enough content for one whole day per course, for sure! Overall, I am happy that I am training with the AAFE and I look forward to taking more courses in the future to support mastery of these skills.”
“Overall, it was a good course and I feel confident in giving level 1 Botox. My only complaint is that my group session felt a little disorganized and chaotic with multiple participants trying to mark patients, draw up botox, and give injections simultaneously. I looked around the room at other groups' instructors taking time to give each trainee individual instruction while other trainees watched. My instructor may not have been the reason for the disorganization, as it could have been the participants in my group wishing to "jump ahead". However, I felt that valuable opportunities to watch to watch each patient be marked, each dosage be drawn up, and each patient be injected was missed because each patient is different and can be learned from. Repetition is important when learning a new skill, and I was expecting to be able to watch each trainee/participant in my group.”
“Great class! Relaxed teaching environment with low student to staff ratio. Very informative with very experienced staff. Great hands on instructions.”
“The prerequisite video trainings were great. Had excellent content! The day of injection training was equally as good with enough educators to assist and answer any and all questions!”
