“I was more concerned about the dermal filler portion because I was very unfamiliar with it. My instructor was great and the online portion was good I just wish there was more info about aftercare and common questions/concerns by patients after their treatments.”
“The instructors were great but I am extremely disappointed with the Dermal Filler Level 1 course- the lectures spent a lot of time reviewing treatment of NLF with filler- belotero was the one the Dr in the lecture kept raving about (which all of the instructors were like absolutely not, they never use belotero), but all the instructors agreed they rarely treat NLF with filler, but instead address the loss of volume in the cheeks (treat the cause not the symptom). Of course, my patients that I brought for the live patient course were for NLF and I was told, nope they need their cheeks done (level two) so I really didn't get any practice with filler. Truly level one should be called lips. Neither of my patients wanted their lips done. If I knew the true nature of the course, I would have looked for a lips patient. Another thing, Sydney said the recorded lectures were very old, which is why the information was not lining up with what the instructor were saying... The courses aren't cheap and I expected the lectures to be up to date.”
