“I am writing to provide feedback on my experience during the second day of the TMJ Botox course. While I had an excellent experience on Day One, I am extremely disappointed with how Day Two unfolded, and I feel that my learning goals were not met.
My friend and I were supposed to be each other’s patients, but throughout the day, I acted as a patient while my friend performed all of the injections on me. We ended up finishing very late, and I did not get the opportunity to practice on my friend as I had expected. I asked the instructor if I can start injections on my friend and he told no it is already late.
What made the situation worse was that I was told I could not leave my patient chair to observe or learn from others. We were two patients at my group. Me and another person. At one point, when everyone in the group was observing while another dentist was performing the injections on other patient, I stood up to watch and learn. However, the instructor immediately told me to sit back down, stating that I was a patient for the day. I was literally not allowed to stand up and observe during the course I paid for, which was incredibly frustrating.
To add to my dissatisfaction, I was asked to pay for 100 units of Botox, costing an additional $500 for me so my friend get to practice on me. This situation feels completely unfair, and I am left feeling like I have wasted both my time and money.
I am very upset by how the day unfolded and feel that my expectations were not met. I would appreciate it if someone could reach out to me to address my concerns and offer a resolution.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you soon.”
“Great informative class. Hands on skills during the session. Highly recommend to anyone else interested in aesthetics and adding skills to their field.”
“honestly, the staff was very nice, but for the price and the push to fill out CC authorization forms (before being allowed to enter the conference room), it had a very "yucky/money grab" feel to it. I hate to say that, but it's how I felt. My instructor was very nice and very knowledgeable, but injecting on one person is not enough. IT would have been helpful for an instructor to demo what it looks like to consult a patient, and fill out consent forms for the group. We were left on our own to do this and just walk over to instructor when ready to inject. For thousands of dollars, I was very disappointed in the level of instruction. I would not recommend this course to others.”
