“I've been injecting for a year. I was hoping the Level 2 course would be even more advanced from my current knowledge base. I didn't learn any new techniques for fillers except for the precision lips using the backfill syringe. As far as botox I learned about 1:1 tight dilution but again no new techniques. I do have a complaint about my instructor Brittany Brown who is a dentist from Chicago. I told her that in my clinic we use the 2.5 mL recommended saline for a 100 unit/vial of botox and depending on the size of the patients forhead can give up to 20 units. She made me feel very dumb and belittled me for this, stating we should never be giving more than 4-6 units in the forehead as her eyebrows "would be on the floor". I looked back at previous trainings and a flyer from Allergan that shows we can inject up to 20 units in the frontalis.”
