“The goose kept on the exact date, and was excellent. They put some fat in a separate tub, which was very useful to make roast potatoes separately without wating for some to come off the bird. They included the neck and giblets which were great for making a stock with. It definitely made for a very special christmas meal :)”

“I am almost playing russian roulette every year by ordering goose online from new supplier, after I have stop buying it from local butcher. And I must say we have a winner this year. The goose was perfect, meat was like butter and the tom yum soup made from left over bones and meat was a treat. So I believe my search for perfect goose is done. We will return next year and probably try some other produce from this site to make sure that wasn't just a fluke with first order. Thank you for sourcing lovely produce and thanks to farmer who raised shed that goose with love.”

“Christmas was the first time ordering from Farmisan though I knew its reputation. A 4kg goose was delivered on time and carefully packed in chilled packaging. The goose cooked for 2.5hrs on Christmas day, stuffed with Bramley apple in the cavity and sausage and apricot stuffing at neck and was fabulous. Tender flesh and gorgeously crisp skin. The goose fed 8 of us plus two small children, who loved it, plus leftovers. I rendered more of the skin to provide an amazing rich goosey snack and used the carcass to make a great stock for soup.”
