And to those who are curious, even without protective metal armor, the Biggie version is tough enough to firmly poke a hole in drink covers, but you’ll need the pointy ended squeegee to poke foil or plastic boba seals. “My overall experience with the new biggie straw was good. I loved the color and how easy it was to take out and place back into its matching case. The metal piece used to puncture my drink was perfect! One gentle poke was all that was needed.
I do wish the cleaning squeegee was less flimsy. My thought was even if it were replaced with a retractable cleaner (such as the one in the final straw 2.0) with a larger tip and laid side by side with the straw itself (length wise) and the area where the current squeegee were eliminated. This would make the overall case shorter and only slightly wider.
I also noticed that the straw was a bit flimsy when it came to using it to stir my thicker drinks (attempted on a milkshake & bubble tea). The straw bent in my hand rather than actually doing any mixing. I think this was due to the two weaker points in the straw meant to help with folding it into its case.
All in all I truly enjoyed making use of my biggie straw and was excited to share it with friends/family around me. I already have my mother, sister, and boyfriend waiting to purchase as well! I’m excited to see what comes next with Final.co”

“I gave the biggie straw 4/5 stars because while I really enjoyed how compact the straw is with its case and how easy it was to clean it, I struggled to actually get the straw into my drink. Despite having a pointed end, the straw was unable to pierce the lid of my boba drink and I ended up using my friend's plastic straw to make a hole in my lid that I could stick my straw through.”
Glad to hear you've been enjoying your super cool BiggieStraw, Devyn! The good news is BiggieStraw comes with a cleaning squeegee that has a poker on the end to help with puncturing! It also has a pointed end that will ensure your straw doesn’t suction to the bottom of the glass but since it’s made of silicone, it won’t be able to puncture plastic on its own.

“This is the best foldable smoothie/boba straw in the market!! Others tend to be really flimsy or too bulky. This one is made of sturdy silicone. What I like is that the silicone is softer at the bending points, so it's easy to fold back up. Also, the cleaning squeegee it comes with has a pointed spear on the end that helps you poke a hole in drink lids. It's genius and so convenient!! Don't look anywhere else. This straw is meant for you.”
“Finally a portable reusable straw for drinking Boba teas with. The straw has no issue with the boba pearls. The mouth piece is nice and soft on the mouth. The only thing I'd change if I could was I miss the rigidity that the original Finalstraw has with the interlocking metal outer part. Still a great on-the-go option that's better for the environment!”
