Some find is easiest just to pop their FinalStraw in the dishwasher, in a "V" formation upside-down.

“I don’t go out without my Final Straw! I am not the world’s example for conservation, but this helps me do my part. It’s easy to carry around, convenient to use, and I always get comments from friends and wait staff when I take it out at a restaurant.
