“I am loving this straw. My only complaint is that it is very difficult to clean between the rigid metal and the silicon underneath. The included cleaning tool cleans inside the straw very well but cleaning between the metal and silicon make me wish for a 3rd hand. You have to pull it apart to expose the silicon and then somehow clean the silicon. Also impossible to clean the inside portion of the metal. If the metal could come off the silicon somehow then it would be a 5 for me.”
“I love my Final straw!! I love firstly that I am no longer using plastic straws because of this product. I also love the design of the straw, the container, and the collapsible cleaning brush. I also am obsessed with the color! In my family I got everyone a straw of their own back during the first version of the straw and got them to utilize it almost as much as me, which is a huge gain for the earth and it's oceans! I will mention that it is of great importance that you clean out the straw sometime each day you use it and let it drain and dry out overnight. You can also put these on most top racks of dishwashers if needed. I would recommend not putting it through on a day you had fish or something else pungent. it's no big deal if you do, I just think that's kind of yucky to me. But you do you! I have one critique that I wish the metal loop for attaching it to a key chain had an option to buy it at a slight discount maybe, when people order their straw. Kind of like an add on. Its fine if the don't do that, I just thought it would be easier. I didn't even know about that loop for a good year after I bought 1.0 version and several months after I purchased this 2.0 version. Love the product love the brand, love the mission! it's time to go plastic straw free!!”
