“The straw is excellent but needs to be expanded by using the cleaning device before it "reinflates" after packing to enable sucking fluid. Otherwise it was blocked. The only other thing that bothers me is that the telescopic cleaning device would collapse when I inserted it into the straw and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get it to the center of the straw to clean it. This is going to be a big problem when I drink milky drinks! Other than that, easy to use, nice to look at.”
“I love the idea of my daughter (7) being able to carry the straw on her school backpack and use it when ever needed then easily clean with the provided cleaner than pack it back up all on her own. the only "kink" in the straw is when opening it up it does have a kink in it that I had to find and squeeze it back and then it worked fine but for a child to figure out where the kink is, is not as easy so she is unable to successfully and conveniently use it without the help of an adult. I don't know if all the straws are like this or just hers but I wish she were able to use it on her own because she really does like it and was super excited to get it.”

Sometimes, when the straw sits for a little while, the joints can stick together. Try squeezing the silicone at the joints to unstick the silicone.
