It’s also a reminder of a viral video I saw years ago of a a sea turtle that had an unfortunate run in with a plastic straw in the sea. Though it still impacts my decisions today, it’s a constant reminder that animals were here first. We’re merely guests and it’s up to us to do our part to preserve the one Earth we’ve been gifted. Hopefully we can all adopt the attitude of this beautiful sea creature and say F*ck plastic for good and welcome sustainable alternatives to help preserve this Earth.”
