“When I first received my FinalSpork, my partner said the real test would be the "mac and cheese" test. I love cheese; I love pasta. We figured that if the spork could pick up curly pasta, it would hold up to my daily life no problem.
To no surprise, the spork worked swimmingly. The prongs are surprisingly deep for a spork - most plastic sporks I've encountered barely have teeth and their falling in the "spork" category is questionable. The spoon aspect of the FinalSpork is not jeopardized to make room for prongs that actually work. While I won't be able to get incredibly large spoonfuls of soup and ice cream, it serves its purpose wonderfully. The same goes for the fork half of the spork; I won't be able to spear a lot of pasta or fruit with the fork prongs, but that is a-ok with me.
We are avid outdoors people and are always looking for sustainable tools to take camping. We've snapped two "durable" plastic fork/knife/spoon doohickeys: one went down from how we packed it into our cookware bag and the other went down on the job when we were stirring ground beef for tacos. I have no hesitations in knowing that this foldable FinalSpork will hold up to our camping standards. The metal casing is sturdy and snaps easily into place so I don't find myself worrying about if it will snap in half.
