“I am new to using clean beauty and this was my first purchase! I contemplated about purchasing for months for a couple of reasons; I have very sensitive/acne prone combination skin, active break outs and there are no returns on opened products.
I've been using the product now for almost 3 months. In my opinion, it's definitely buildable light to medium coverage and while it doesn't cover breakouts flawlessly I think it does just about as good of a job as a regular foundation. And my number one concern, it did not cause me to break out.
Since I have dryer skin and live in a dry climate I use the oil cleansing method in the mornings and this seems to help with application of the product, you definitely need to rub it into your skin to make sure it's evenly applied. The texture is different than traditional foundations but once you're used to it, it's very nice. I feel like I'm not wearing anything on my face and like my skin is actually able to breathe.
All in all I am very happy with my purchase and will continue to use this product.”
“First off, I have red. irritated skin with large pores and rough texture. Picking foundations is difficult for me, because nothing seems to hide my damaged skin.
When first using this foundation, I hated it. I applied it with my fingers and found it was hard to spread, creased easily, and looked streaky and cakey. Then I purchased the Crunchi flat-top foundation brush and applied this foundation with it, and this completely changed how the foundation looked. It evened out my skin tone, did not crease at all, and made it look smooth, soft, and healthy. It hid all of my redness and bumps. I also have the Vapor soft focus foundation and the Fitglow foundation performs a million times better. Leaves a satin-y finish and does not transfer easily.
I use this foundation with the Suntegrity 5 in 1 moisturizer/primer underneath and the overall look is amazing. Know that this is NOT a full coverage foundation. I would say it is light-medium. I like to feel like my skin can breathe and this foundation is perfect. I also feel that it is actually good for my skin, and that it is improving it over time.
My only complaint is that I am have pale olive skin, and V2 is not a perfect match. Although it works, it is still slightly too warm toned for my greenish-yellow tinted skin. However, I stick with this foundation because it is that good. Hoping that Fitglow comes out with more of a color range for pale olive skin tones :)”
“This foundation is amazing. I don't ever really wear foundation but to no that ur putting healthy and good for your on ur skin and face. It didn't sit in any crevices or pores. The longer it's on the more amazing it looks. Love love love.”
