“Recently did the 9 day hike from Banff to Banff. Before leaving my husband asked if we were really going to get ‘gourmet’ food, as per the tour description on the website. We even laughed about it (several times). I mean, who has gourmet food camping.? Well,the joke was on us. Everyday was a culinary surprise. From crispy hot cinnamon buns roasted on coals to shrimp,mango and cilantro tacos, we were happy to eat our words. The hikes that our guide,Alex, chose for our group were varied, ranging in duration, elevation and undulation. The Rockies provided the spectacular views which were unbelievable. We learnt a lot about this area of the world standing near glaciers, hiking mountains and traversing meadows. I would not hesitate to recommend Fresh Adventures to adventure seekers and activists. You won’t be disappointed. And to to top it off - the food is ‘gourmet’!!!!”
“Those 9 days I spent on the Rockies were awesome. We hiked everyday through breathtaking scenery (but you could rest for a day if needed). Alex (our guide) was knowledgeable on the area and enthusiastic about sharing trails and routes with us. Claire (co-guide) and him completely spoilt us. We hiked great routes, ate AWESOME FOOD and shared epic memories. They were super outgoing and accommodating. I'm so lucky to have enjoyed great vibes all day with great leaders and an incredible group. 100% recommend!”

“The tour was great, a nice size to be able to get to know everybody really well and excellent food (I had no idea you could bake using a campfire but learnt how to on this tour!). We got to see a lot of different sites with time to go for loads of swims in glacial lakes (and warm up afterwards!) “We recently did a 9 day tour of The Rockies with Alex and a wonderful group of people from 3 different continents. The experience of walking and camping was fantastic, made better by the personal experiences shared by Alex. It should be noted that Alex is hardened to the colder weather conditions and you should make your own decision on what to wear ... his wearing of shorts and t-shirts made me feel cold to look at him!!
