I got this to replace my hot Aikido gi as we usually fall in between heavy Judo gis and light Karate gis. The gi is not as lightweight as I was led to believe. It has some weight to it and when packed, takes some space (mostly due to the thick lapels). It is cool but not anything extraordinary. However, it is by far not the heaviest option on the market. I guess they did not want to make it too light either, so it rips after a year or two. It is a quality product, nonetheless. The gi has around 30% polyester in it, which no place on the website mentions it. I wish this were clear from the beginning. The sizing for both the top and bottom tends to go slightly larger. I ordered A3 for a 180 cm 80 kg person and it is on the baggier and longer side. There are many flashy labels and logos on the gi. I know this is a matter of taste and BJJ folks like their gis like that, I wish there was a plain version of it for more traditional styles too so you can fit in with other people more easily.

Fits like no other kimono I have worn before. I will but it to the endurance test, but I'm confident it's worth every penny.
