“I do like the look of the kettle, but I’m struggling with the lid mechanism and it is noisier than I thought it would be. I have to jab several times at the lid to get it to open, that’s annoying and disappointing because cheaper kettles have a smooth opening. Overall, water gets hot so it fulfills its function in a fairly efficient way. I was going to buy the matching toaster, but the quality of the kettle has deterred me.”
