“The cost for this lamp assembly was the lowest I found on the Internet and the new lamp works just fine. Unfortunately, the housing the lamp came in would not fit in my projector. It looked the same as the one I removed but must have been slightly different in some critical dimension. I solved the problem by removing the new lamp from its housing and placing it in the old housing. This was fairly easy and solved the problem. Turns out the cost of the lamp and assembly I paid was not much more that the cost of a new lamp, so I feel OK. I would advise just buying the lamp unless there is some problem with your existing assembly.”
