“Best fitting I’ve owned, and I’ve tried at least a dozen different brands/styles over the years. Im 5’6” tall and 165 lbs, and the A2L fits perfectly. I followed the size chart and it worked!! (This shouldn’t be shocking but if you’ve ordered other gis you know how rare this is). Wore it first my first ever comp—got mauled but I looked good doing it!
The elevated and elasticized rear waistband is what all women’s gis should have. Fits beautifully and comfortably, although it does mean that the waist cutouts are a little deeper that usual. The print liner /trim is cool, the seafoam green accents are feminine without being hello kitty (not that there’s anything wrong with that).
The fabric itself is comfortable and soft but still feels like it will wear well. Since I train in Southern California, I usually wear ultralight gis in the summer; I’ll have to wait to see if this one is too warm for hot weather training. Lapels are substantial but not uncomfortable.
Very little shrinkage, but I am judicious about drying. I dryer dry on low for the first few minutes just to soften the fabric and knock out most of the wrinkles and then air dry the rest of the way.
Overall—a huge score! Makes me less salty about the fact that a certain high end brand that rhymes with Borigen doesn’t offer women’s gis If Gaidama drops this in black I will definitely get one, and I may pick up a second pair of pants just to have one curso pair for comps.”

“Love this gi! I was reluctant to purchase it because it’s white. But I’m glad I took a chance. I’m 5’6, 155 lbs and the A2L is perfect for both my jacket and pants. The measurements on the size guide were very helpful. Trained in it for the first time today and it was so comfortable. The only downside… I’m a white belt, and my “white” belt does not look white when wearing this gi (more gray, from wearing and washing it since I started training). Would love to see this gi in black or blue.”

“I really love having the ability to customize the sizes for the top and bottoms. I’m 5’5 and on the curvier side so an A2 fit great. My legs are quite short compared to my top so I got a petite in the pants and a standard in the top!”
“The sizing has been PERFECT ! with so many options you cant go wrong- I am 5'8" and have both long top and bottom, this has been a game chnager for me. I usually have to size up so my sleeves dont shrink but i can now have a fitted gi that keeps the length in the arms so well ! I love it ! I cant wait for more to come out!”
