Good fit and a welcome addition to shade our covered breakfast nook, as well as keeping the wind blown rain away. The awing was easy to assemble, but due to its size and location, was a two man job to mount to the facia plate. Sorry no photos.

Not easy to assemble by myself, panels kept slipping out of their grooves before I could get the screws in. I had to get some help holding the sides together and finally I got it, frustrating.. Once I got help screwing the arms to the walls at the right height and angle, using silicone where recommended, I thought I was finished, but when the first hard rain came, water dripped down continuously between the small spaces in my exterior wood paneling, over the storm door frame and into the top of my doorframe itself, causing water to drip from that onto the doorplate inside. I cured the problem by applying silicone with pressure down into the spaces between the awning top bar and again up through the gaps between boards from underneath to stop it from allowing water to drip down beneath the awning. So far so good with that. The awning makes a lot of noise in medium and high winds which is annoying. My guess is this is a common problem if you live where it's windy. It sounds like rippling metal, loud for sure! The arms tended to jerk in the wind where they attach to the house so I tied a jug of water positioned on the ground with a heavy line to the outer end of the arm where it meets the crossbar, holding it from making the jerking noise in its bracket, sheesh! I like the awning to shelter me as I enter my home but would hope that these things are somehow resolved for the next person so they can get help from an assistant from the beginning and beware of these issues.

It looks great and keeps the sun and rain off the door and allows me to enter house without getting wet.
