“I ordered my first General Awnings unit (72"0 in 2019 and it was so easy to assemble and put up (only needed a hand for final mounting) that in 2021 I purchased a 60" Awning for my back door. Again easy to assemble and a hand needed to make it easier to mount. The 72" survived a snowy winter and a wet Spring nd summer and so far the 60" has survived a few Tropical deluges. The price was right and the quality is there, makes me a happy owner.”

“The awning was ordered after consulting with General Awning by both phone and email. They were fantastic. We discussed my project and I was requested to send a photo or two of the awning I was replacing as well as the installation site. After they received the photos I again discussed my project and was able to confidently order the size and model I needed. The awning was shipped very timely. arriving exactly on the day they said it would arrive. I have no construction experience but was able to assemble it in my garage and was impressed at how clear the instructions were and how good the quality of the awning was. I installed it by myself with no problems. It has already withstood the wrath of the tail ends of two hurricanes(60 mph winds) with no issues. I know I sound like a cheer leader for the company, but honest I'm not. It's just a great product sold by a well run company.”

“The central part should be tied down with the underneath bracket, so it doesn’t vibrate and cause a noise when you close the door. Use cousin in between or welded clip.”
