Very satisfied with the form, fit, and function. A cost, effective alternative to lesser quality or more expensive construction solutions.

I spent a lot of time researching to find the best combination price+quality. These awnings are the best I could find: look great, super sturdy (aluminum frames), easy to assemble, easy to purchase, fast shipment, fantastic customer support both by email and phone. The only tricky part was to attach them to the stucco wall of my house. You need to bolt them to the structural elements (studs, beams) and NOT to the stucco layer itself. And finding those studs was a challenge. After days of watching relevant videos on Youtube, the best option was to make a rough guess where the beam may potentially be, use the smallest drillbit, and start drilling holes left-right up-down until you hit the stud/beam. That worked pretty well. I'm a computer engineer (nothing to do with building/construction) and yet, with the help of my wife, we managed to assemble and attach them to the house within 2 days. I'm sure it'd take a few hours for a professional, but.. the quotes we got were totally unreasonable: between $300-500 per awning, that is we'd pay at least $1200 for installation, which is almost 2x more than the cost of the awnings themselves. This is why I decided to take my time and do it myself, which saved me some $$$.
