“We had some concerns about how to install the awning because my house is covered in shakes which create an uneven profile. My carpenter finally solved the problem by making and painting small wooden shims. We were also concerned about high wind, so we used anchors. He also used several beads of silicone to plug the small gap between the awning and the house. The rain drains off the front now away from the door's threshold, which was rotting from the rain. I purchased the awning to prevent continued dry rot, so I'm pleased it's solved. Esthetically, the awning blends and is very inconspicuous compared with an opaque awning. In fact, from the door's window inside, the view is not blocked. I can see trees and sky, just like through a window. I really like the new awning.”

“I love this awning. It gives a nice contemporary look to my newly sided house and provides that cover as you are entering or leaving. Plus it gives a bit of shelter to those delivery packages.”

“I love this product, it was tricky but do-able to build and install it. It looks great and seems very stable in our windy area. Very happy that I got the metal braces. All good!”
