“After reading reviews I was nervous that this dress would not fit in the bust as other reviewers on various sites have stated that it fits tight in the chest. I found this dress to fit beautifully with just enough room. I would say it leans more true to size. For reference 36DDD and size large fit well.”
We added elastic along the back of the neckline to the Makenzie Dress this year, to make the chest are more comfortable - we are thrilled to hear that you are pleased with the fit!
“It’s a nice airy dress and the gingham pattern is nice, but why isn’t there a placket behind the buttons, or why aren’t the top two sewn shut? I took the trouble of asking if it would accommodate a bigger bust before buying and was told that the dress was updated for that reason. No. The two top buttons gap apart and now I have to spend even more $ to have a placket added or have them sewn shut. I’d hate to know what the old version of this dress was like before updates if this was the improvement??”
