“Proper Waist and Lenth ordered, however I am unhappy with the comfort. Both pair I ordered have little flexibility when squatting into the plate umpire position. They are thicker and heavier. They are hotter because they are tightly woven and really uncomfortable.They are a lighter color than Smitty Charcoal and therefore do not match most umpires I work with. I am really unhappy but your policy says I can not return them because they were hemmed.”

Our pants use 100% polyester fabric, which offers less stretch than spandex blends but provides superior durability and color retention, especially under frequent sun exposure. The tighter weave balances airflow with durability and quality hand feel. Regarding color, our charcoal shade has been consistent for decades and is slightly lighter than Smitty's. We apologize if this doesn't match your expectations. As for our return policy, altered or game-worn pants cannot be returned, which is standard in our industry.
