“As a relative novice to public school officiating, my first cap and mask experience was a disaster! Getting the mask on and off was nothing short of a losing battle…for comfort and the time to execute. I purchased my first beanie from Gerry Davis and this is now my second. The bill of the cap is perfect to accommodate the mask. Forget about it looking “old school”! It works, in my opinion, better than the “combo” cape. …and just two days ago I got a compliment for its “look” from one of my catchers! …made me chuckle. It’s a “Richardson” product, so the quality is “top drawer!””

“The cap is quite tall (vertical) and boxy. Good plug and play hat. True to size (adjustable). Color matched. Good quality for a year or 2 heavy use. The tall aspect makes it fit oddly with the mask.”

“I thought it was A fitted hat, but it wasn’t. They never showed the back of the hat because I would’ve never bought it but it’s OK. I used it the other day and it was fine. I was just looking for a fitted hat.”
