This product works as advertised. Great alternative to mounting a phone to the windshield. I also prefer it to my cars built in GPS because I always have to look down to see the next direction. It does require a few tries to get the right placement, and does take some getting used too. The display is very clear and bright when displaying data from the OBD2 port. Not as sharp with Apple maps and Waze but still very usable.I have also ordered the Hudly Wireless to compare them to see which one I like best. Great product guys.

Overall great product, crisp image without any vibration. Works great with Sygic HUD mode. I only find it lacking more customization options, such as the posibility of changing the RPM limits ( mine will never go to 7000rpm ) , or even customizing all the gauges with the help of a computer. Another recomendation would be to make an over the dashboard version, or add the posibility of flipping the image, so it can be mounted behind the steering wheel and the glass just under the center of view position. In my case it helped installing the projector 3 or 4 inches from the centered over wheel position , so the HUD glass keeps away from the center of view.

I bought this unit to fit in my 2016 Mazda MX-5. Mounting the unit could be improved. There is very little clearance between the top of the instrument cluster and the windshield. However, this unit did fit. I had to mount the collimator (projector) as high on the windshield as I could. Aligning the screen was problematic as the template assumes you have much more windshield to work with than I did. It finally was a matter of making/cutting my own template from cardboard and then a bit of trial and error to get the mount in the right location to enable the screen to be adjustable within my line of sight. i think I have moved it three times now and believe I have it about right. Wiring. I am impressed that it wires up with what appears to be off-the-shelf wiring. However, as one reviewer stated, one size does NOT fit all. The wiring is an octopus. Not fun to do in a small car like a Miata. Additionally, all the excess wiring has to be bundled up in wad the size of a softball, wire tied, and then attached to something under the dashboard. It is definitely NOT elegant. Wiring from the collimator to the "wiring bundle" is two wires and very, very bulky. I am not sure it will fit under the plastic facade on the driver side left windshield post, so I used adhesive cable clips to secure the wires supplemented with small zip ties in between the cable clips. It might be better to simply use cable tie mounts and secure with these and zip ties. There is also a wire that must run to the phone if one is to use the phone mirroring capability. The wire, like the others, has to be run and secured using either cable clips or cable tie mounts with zip ties. Makes for a rather messy and ad hoc look to what could be an elegant installation. The Operation. Operation is straight forward and the documentation is adequate. One cannot have both phone mirroring and OBDII displays at the same time however. So, one must choose, for example, mapping or performance display. Switching between the two is simply a button push but it requires that on the collimator. So far I like it. I would prefer a Bluetooth device like the NAVDY (which appears to be out of business) with something like their thumbwheel device in order change displays and also to minimize the "rats nest" of wiring which this unit has. However, I will support this device and hope that they will come out with incremental improvements, stay in business, and take care of their early adopters who supported them. For what it is worth, I use HUD in business jets and am a pilot instructor. This unit is a very credible offering to bring a HUD to cars that did not come with OEM HUD. I applaud their effort!

Great product. Smooth projection. Absolutely no vibrations. Works great ( had to get the Apple hdmi adapter to make it work instead of the custom wire - but hudly folks refunded $20 for that cable not working ). Would recommend to everyone with a cell phone and uses any mapping apps to look for directions/traffic etc.

It works, but would be nice to mount the display driver on the dashboard so the mirror can be mounted low on the windshield. I have a 2002 Z06 with HUD that is low on windshield. Also would like the option of custom length cables. One size does not fit all.

Good screen - quality cords. Issues with Samsung Note 8 and android cord not compatible. Speaker poor quality. Buttons not always responsive.
