“I love to make my own natural care items and natural cleaning products. I have four children and they all have very sensitive respiratory systems. The smells of chemicals in store bought cleaning products can cause them to wheeze and need to have breathing treatments.
I also like for my house to smell nice! I use a lot of oil diffusers throughout different rooms of my house. Just a few drops of the Pure Peppermint oil mixed with a teaspoon of coconut oil lasts the whole day and my house smells delicious.
Peppermint oil is especially good when people have allergies and or cold symptoms. I have used this to naturally unclog my nose. I put a few drops of the peppermint oil into some steaming hot water and just inhale the smell. It unclogs my nose and I have no groggy feeling like when I use allergy or cold medication.
I've also mixed this with some coconut oil as my own personal natural chapstick. My lips are so smooth and soft and they smell and taste fabulous.”

I mainly use peppermint oil for my hair to treat my dry, itchy scalp and promote hair growth. “With that being said, I love it! The label on the box says it is very potent and it is. This is perfect for aroma therapy. I put five drops in my diffuser and it last for hours. “I use Peppermint oil for many things but the one thing that I find that it really helps me with, is headaches. I suffer from Vertigo, and get migraines easily, triggered by food. So when I happen to go out and have dinner, lets say with family or friends at a new place, I run the risk of getting sick from something from their food. It is unfortunate but this is something that I know that I have to deal with. In any case, I prefer to lay off of drugs, since most of the time they actually make things worse for me. “I am an essential oil lover and as a massage therapist, I use this daily in my practice. The peppermint oil smells exactly as you would think it should, it's not chemically smelling like some others I have tried in the past. In my practice I diffuse this, I use it for headaches and I also make a sugar foot scrub for my reflexology clients. Buying in larger bottles such as this one, has really helped me because it's much cheaper than trying to buy tiny little bottles. A little of this goes a long way, so even with daily use, this bottle will last a long time. If you keep them stored properly, the oils themselves will last a really long time too. “Everyone and their brother has been talking up the benefits of essential oils and it seems like you can't throw a cat without hitting someone who wants to convert you to one of the diffuser product users....however, I've always been a leader, not a follower, so I try to not just jump on any old bandwagon that comes along.
We recently went out of town for a few days and I was really worried about the poor animal sitter that is coming to take care of our animals would be dealing with stinky, animal filled, closed house stinkiness when she came over...so I took a few drops of the oils (I actually used both Lavender and Peppermint) and dropped them in a couple places in the house.
We came home 5 days later and the house still smelled amazing! I also noticed that on the chair where I left the lavender drops, 6 of our 7 cats were curled up together sleeping peacefully....this is a big deal because usually they fight amongst themselves and I've never seen so many of them sleeping peacefully together. I can only explain it by saying it has to be the oils.
I will absolutely be buying these products again...not only for the air freshener properties, but because if all it takes to make my house peaceful is a couple drops of oil...I'm in!”
“This Peppermint essential oil has a scent that is more inviting and fresh compared to others I have tried and that's quite a few. It is extremely potent an I bet it would be perfect for my Christmas body lotion making endevour. I am not sure what it is about it. I have been using it in cleaning solutions as well as my diffuser. I can't get enough of it . This is just very refreshing and if i want to mix it up I add a little vanilla and it gives it a whole new life. This bottle is huge and I love the glass dropper it came with. I think this is high quality stuff.”
