Hi James, as explained on the support. This is totally unacceptable from the carrier. Sadly we don't have control on them neither on their employees and how they manage the boxes. This kind of issues happens rarely and it is always sad to see.
Like stated, we are already about offering the best customer experience and if something like that happens are taking care of it. We have already sent it back to full production so you don't have to be worried.
