Organic Bamboo Period Pads Reviews

4.7 Rating 45 Reviews
I've been happy with the bamboo pads, it is not something I've bought specifically for myself before but decided to give them a try. I think for the price and being plastic free they are excellent value and curious now to try the bamboo day pads.

Now these hit everything I think good about liners. Yes certain age and you tend to have some issues but these are those little helping items. You can cough or sneeze and not feel like everyone knows about it, no leaks with these liners. They feel comfortable, long enough but no bulk. I must admit I did wonder if they would be absorbent enough but they are. All come in their own little wrappers so disposing of them not a messy job either. Yes they are great only issue I think though is the cost of them for the thirty six. I feel like I might be doing something good for the planet but at a cost to my purse that’s the problem.

Not something I would buy again but ONLY because of the price. I wish these were more affordable as they are genuinely the most comfortable pads I have ever used. They are soft and gentle to skin. They don't have that plasticky feel cheap pads have. It keep you feeling clean and dry for hours on end. They feel like you're not wearing a pad: they're so soft, they almost feel like fabric. I hope these become more popular and, in turn, become cheaper as I would 100% buy them again if they were more affordable.

The older I get, the less I like the idea of using tampons - especially overnight. What always put me off pads was the sweating. I'm delighted to report that, with both the day and night pads, I didn't feel sweaty at all! They're lovely and soft, and up to the task of coping with tsunamic levels of peri-menopausal period product. Super comfy and an ethical brand. It's a yes from me!

When it comes to sanitary pads, women deserve comfort and maximum protection. Some brands fall off on either one of these points, though Grace & Green really does tick off all of the boxes! Firstly, these were presented beautifully. I love how their eco-friendly ethos carries through from the packaging to the product. A lovely branded cardboard box and neatly packed inside was x2 of both the Night Pads and the Day Pads. The packaging of both pads were really nice. I love the branding of the box and I also love that each pad is wrapped individually with a very gentle protection sheet with Grace & Green packaging. Super professional! The pads are super soft too and don't irritate the skin. Absorption could be a little better, especially for the night pads. Though still, despite heavy bleeding at night, these pads still did a fantastic job at absorbing all of the blood. They also have wings so rest assured the pad won't be sliding anywhere. Great adhesion and easy to remove when needing to change. A truly fantastic brand that cares about the environment as much as their customers. 5 stars! Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

These pads have a very nice long shape and size with good sticky wings. They adhere very well. The material of the surface is soft but does get bunched and start to rip apart after a few hours so it isn't the strongest surface. They aren't bad though for night wear.

I think I actually audibly gasped the first time I opened one of these pads - they're so soft! I usually use Always combined with Tampax and I am so glad that these do not have a scent. I've used these through two cycles now and I do like them. I still use the combination of the two as I have quite heavy periods so these were absorbent enough for me and worked well even overnight as long as I did a mid-night change if not using a tampon (just as I would with Always). One thing I did notice though was compared to Always which soaks in and under the top layer, the blood does dry on the top so it doesn't feel as clean. I love the packaging with these - cardboard boxes. I would recommend them.

I was not expecting bamboo pads to be comfortable and soft. These green and green bamboo pads are light, easy to use and so small comes in handbag too. Material is soft and absorbs the liquid. Come in two varieties of day and night. On a heavy flow day I had to change more than two times. It has all qualities which any big brands has. Best part these are eco friendly products. Hence price is also high £8 for 36 pads packet which is £4.5 per pad. If money is not a problem I would highly recommend green and green biodegradable pads.
