When it arrived I tried it out on myself (curly hair that I brush when wet only). Tried it on my dry curls and it didn't pull at all, was very impressed. Next step was for my daughter to try. Getting her to brush her long hair is a nightmare, we have threatened to shave her head many a time but as she is a dancer we cant. She was...yeah that's good....didn't hurt....(on the ipad at the time) and is now brushing her hair daily as opposed to when I was able to hold her down to do it! I've recommended it to all my daughters dancing buddies who have just now bought one along with my 2nd brush.”
