This is the first Pu-er that I've enjoyed in a very long time. Mostly, the ones I have bought in the past have tasted like dirt. Very OLD dirt that spent its glory years in a ship's cargo hold. The cargo hold of the Marie Celeste... Anyway, this tea is absolutely delightful. Savoury and complex and it is presently my favourite tea.

This tea is smooth and flavorful. It is also versatile. I use this tea for everything. I make yogi tea with it, use it as the base for my kombucha, make jello. Everything comes out amazing.

This is the pu-er has a bold taste that I love hot in the mornings and cold in the afternoons. The subtle woody and earthy flavors make this an easy drink, but enlivened my curiosity for more intense pu-ers as well as lighter shang pu-er teas.
