Very nice tea. I love the Oolongs

I was initially disappointed with this Oolong. I then realized, as I was alternating between pots of Taiwanese Oolong and this one that it is simply a bit lighter...a bit more delicate. Once I got my head around that, I came to like this tea very much.

From the first time I experienced the fragrant aroma of this tea, until I tasted its sweet nectar, I was smitten! Nepal Ambrosia Oolong is indeed the perfect way to start the day. It has become a real favorite with its gentle hints of dried fruit and smoothly drinkable flavor. Definitely not the run of the mill Oolong!

Isn't this tea just the best?! If you're curious about our other Nepalese teas check out our Nepal Himalayan Gold black tea! It has sweet notes as well as chocolate and squash like linger.
I have tried a plethora of tea over the year, and prior to purchasing this tea, I would tell anyone who was willing to listen that I disliked oolong the most. So, I was originally a bit skeptical of my decisions to buy a few ounces of oolong and feared that I had bought roughly 20$ worth of tea that would sit in my tea cupboard for months just collecting dust. While I have had oolong before, this Nepal Ambrosia Oolong was the first oolong tea I've ever bought. And... I literally cannot believe that I've been missing out on this type of tea for my entire life. First off, there was a bit of a learning curve for me in learning how to brew oolong. I originally was steeping too many leaves for far too long which resulted in an odd flavor that made me weary of the 4 ounces I bought on a whim. So, don't be me. I repeat, don't be that person who leaves oolong leaves in a cup of tea for ten minutes then is shocked when they are put off by a sour and oddly compost-like taste. I promise... if you brew this tea according to the shop's instructions, you will get to experience the surprisingly sweet undertones of this tea as well as a woman's choir singing a major triad in your head. Something that I found funny was that the first brew of the tea leaves would be light and nearly flavorless similar to how the first pancakes is always a bit wonky in shape. I'll usually brew the leaves for about 3-4 minutes on the first brew then 2-3 minutes on the following brews. This tea would always tasted better on the second brew as the golden brown leaves have uncurled a bit and have 'woken up'. The leaves generally last up to 4 or 5 cup. Honestly, this tea is such a great gateway into a magical tea journey of exploring oolong.

You've got great taste! Nepal Ambrosia is an absolute favorite among the staff at the teahouse. Another favorite is the China Magnolia Oolong. Like the Nepal Ambrosia, it has delicious sweet undertones. Hopefully, you'll hear a woman's choir singing as you drink this one too!
This is one of my favorite teas and is absolutely a favorite oolong of mine. It has fantastic sweet notes and is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it.
