“I bought this headtorch around three years ago, and it is an amazing bit of kit. It's difficult to fault it. I use it pretty much all the time. I'm part of a local wildlife group, and it is in constant use night after night each Spring and Summer when I am out conducting surveys for amphibians in local nature reserves. The rechargeable battery lasts around two hours on full beam, and I find it very useful to be able to dim the light to whatever is appropriate. It very handily has a red light at the back which then lights up 'green' when it's fully charged.The range of the beam is really impressive, and I love being able to change the beam from 'spotlight' to a really broad beam. I'm a bit embarrassed to say that I've got around six headtorches (Black Diamonds' and Petzls' mainly) but this is by far the best one. I rate LED as the best manufacturer. If you're looking for the best headtorch for under £120 - when this one is on sale, that is, then look no further. I'm saving up to buy the next LED model up, which has 2000 lumens, but is very annoyingly never on sale! Lol. (I also have a 3200 lumen LED X21R torch, but that isn't so much a torch as a flippin' searchlight!)”
