“I'm used to British style hammers with cylindrical faces, for both wood and metal work. This is a 'continental' style square-face hammer and it offers some advantages. First, for a given head width the shape embodies more material and therefore more mass. Second, the shape enable the hammer to apply accurate blows in corners and along internal angles. This particular product is well designed and well made from good materials. I use it often in preference to my British-style hammers.”

“I love this hammer! I'll be honest, I didn't need it. I own multiple claw hammers of various sizes, a ball pein, a rubber mallet and a wooden mallet too.The design of this appeals to my inner tool geek, so much so that I bought it, hung it onto the hammer rack and haven't touched it since! It's well balanced, looks and feels good, has sufficient weight, and looks pretty too... I'll get my coat.”
