This is a decent cream which isn't as rich as other night creams I've tried, but still gives a good enough level of moisturisation. Unfortunately it is too heavily scented for my liking. I would also be wary of using AHAs on a regular basis as they can be drying.

This is a really nice night cream that having used for a couple of weeks seems to really suit my skin. It smells lovely, absorbs well and doesn't leave any residue. The pump dispenser works well and I haven't had the problems some of the other reviewers have mentioned. Only a small amount is needed and although I haven't yet noticed any improvement in my skin condition I do have quite sensitive skin and it hasn't caused me any problems or redness

Unlike other reviewers I haven't had any problems with the dispenser. I don't know whether you use less with a pump dispenser or more as it is difficult to control and you can't pop it back in the container. The cream itself is very light compared to alot of other night creams. This means it absorbs into you skin really quickly. The perfume is quite strong but have had no sensitivity issues. My skin looks moisturised and refreshed in the morning. However it is pricey and you don't get a huge amount for the money.

This night cream is packaged in a small pump action bottle which would be fine if the pump actually worked properly. I have managed to coax a very small lentil sized amount with each press – surely this can't be right? The cream has a pleasant smell and texture, and soaks into the skin quite well. At the moment I can't tell you if it's effective, but at this rate it's going to take qute some time to get enough out of the bottle to properly test it. I can't help feeling that the two ingredients mentioned – sugar maple and bilberry – are there simply to be different. The sugar maple is way down near the bottom of the quite lengthy list of ingredients, and I'm assuming “Vaccinium Myrtillus Fruit Extract” is the bilberry extract, which again, is not top of the list. I'm sure there can't possibly be any specific beauty benefits to either. Very expensive in its current form – maybe a tube would have been ore efficient?

This seems like a good product. It is 50ml of product (ie a relatively small amount) in a glass bottle packaged in an attractive outer cardboard box, illustrating the Himalayan spring water contained in the cream. However, there is a problem using the product which doesn't want to dispense out of the pump. It either doesn't come out at all, or flies out in all directions landing in places you really don't want cream. What does dispense appears as a white, fresh smelling and richly moisturising, non sticky cream. What a pity about the dispenser.

Prior to reviewing this product I had not heard of the Herbal Essentials brand. Paraben, paraffin and SLS - free, Herbal Essentials is cruelty free and a proud supporter of Ô1% for the PlanetÕ. Herbal Essentials donates 1% of its global sales to the not-for-profit organisation that supports environmental protection. This Night Cream is a lovely product, a little slow to dispense but you do not need to use much. I use in the evening after applying a serum. My skin is left feeling soft and refreshed but not oily. I think it has a smoothing and brightening effect. A little expensive but you do get what you pay for, excellent product.

I quite liked the simple packaging for this night cream - a nice, neat cardboard box that's a good fit for the bottle of cream it contains. There's no internal staging to mislead a buyer into thinking the product is larger than it is, and no single use plastic film/seals. The pump bottle is a thick, good quality plastic (a shame it's not glass) with a clear cap. The pump requires a few presses to prime it - mine started working within 6 presses, and once working can be partially or fully depressed depending on how much cream you want to dispense at a time. The pump nozzle is narrow, and the amount of cream dispensed fairly small, a full squirt yielding about a pea-sized amount. The cream is white and quite strongly fragranced (it does contain perfume and alcohol, two of the most common skin irritants in cosmetics) - it smells nice, both sweet and floral. For personal preference, it's a bit too scented and zingy for overnight. The cream can be applied quite sparingly, and a little goes a long way. This seems to start working almost immediately, making skin look softer and smoother. This is quite a light night cream, but my skin is fairly moist with a tendency to oiliness in the T-zone, and I find anything more than the thinnest layer possible, a bit heavy. On my Mum's skin, which has become a bit dryer now that she's in her 70s, the effectiveness of this was really noticeable.

This is a beautifully light night cream. It is absorbed very quickly and is not sticky in any way. In comparison with other night creams it is as light as a feather. It is suitable for all skin types and is high in essential which will boost skin renewal. It comes in a pump action bottle. I notice some people have had trouble with the pump action, but I did not find any problems with it and it dispensed the amount I wanted with just one action. For me, I think this is more than I would pay, but in comparison to some other night creams on the market, it seems to be a reasonable price for a night cream with such purity of ingredients.
