This is a pleasant cleanser with a lovely fragrance, best applied to damp or wet skin. It works well with the rotary or sonic face brushes. It lathers well and does leave my skin feeling clean and fresh, but I can't see why the price tag is so high. Pleasant but nothing special,

Sunflower oil is one of the main ingredients in this cleanser, and I've found that it helps to balance out my sensitive skin and leave it feeling moisturised and purified. A little bit goes a long way, so although it is a fairly small tube it is lasting me a while, which is great for my budget. It comes out of the tube as a thick, oily gel which you massage onto your dry face. Then when you apply warm water, it turns into a milk. Even though it's an oil-based cleanser, it's easy to rinse off and doesn't leave a residue behind. It also hasn't clogged up my pores and I haven't had any irritation from it. I hadn't heard of Herbal Essentials before I tried this cleanser but I'm impressed by the quality of the products as well as their ethical credentials. Neither they nor their manufacturers/third-party suppliers test on animals, and the products are free from alcohol (surprisingly common in skincare but very drying and harsh on the skin!), parabens, sulphates and silicones. I'll definitely be investigating more of their product range. Very impressed! My only niggle with this cleanser is the scent: it isn't unpleasant but the fragrance is quite strong and I'd prefer my skincare products not to contain parfum.

I was hoping to be bowled over by this, given the price of it. Sadly, I wasn't. It's a nice lightly scented cleanser - oil-based - which does feel very nice on your skin. It certainly does what it promises to do in terms of cleansing, and does leave a nice soft feeling afterwards. That's where it ends though - my face felt relatively dry again within half an hour, which I wouldn't have expected. My skin is fairly normal, so certainly not overly dry in the first place! It's nice, but I'm not sure that the product justifies the price.

Being an oil based cleanser, very little is needed and my skin is not dried out. The fragance is light and neutral. Pleasant to use and effective. No adverse skin reaction. Whilst I like this cleanser, I am not convinced that the price is justified.

This is a tube of facial wash which is thick and creamy. I expected to find grains or pore cleanser but there are none, it is just a gentle creamy facial wash. It is applied onto damp skin and gently massaged around the face. It made my face feel refreshed and clean. It is all natural and I had no skin irritation at all and I have been using it daily, just a little expensive.

This is a nice cleanser to use - it has a gel consistency and you don't need much. It isn't the sort of thing that will remove make-up, more of a conventional facial cleanser. You can apply it to dry skin but in my view it is better to apply to damp skin and remove with a damp cloth. I have slightly sensitive skin but haven't experienced any irritation although it does leave my skin feeling quite dry. There is nothing wrong with this as a product but for me it isn't special enough to justify the £18 price tag.

This 'gel' cleanser is labelled as 'radiance' (for tired skin) and I do think that it left my skin looking brighter after just one use. It's an opaque gel consistency and you can apply it to dry or damp skin. Applying it to dry skin feels like smearing Vaseline on your face and you use quite a lot - but it feels almost like you're using a face mask, it's so rich and moisturising. I did use a facecloth to clean it off though, as it was so rich. However, applying it to damp skin uses a little less product, as it ever so slightly foams and becomes a cream coloured 'paste' type consistency on your skin - and washes off much easier just with warm water alone. I have sensitive skin, prone to breakouts, but this didn't cause any negative effects - it just left my skin feeling soft, smooth and clean. It smells nice too - a subtle scent that reminds me of talcum powder! Another bonus is that this product is suitable for vegans, so it's good to know that no animals were harmed in the making of this product (the company doesn't test on animals, or pay another company to do so). The only reason I've deducted one star is because of the price. I think £18 is pretty pricey for a cleanser, but maybe i'm just a bit stingy!

I’m glad a little goes a long way with this cleanser as it is quite expensive. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin so I find lots of High Street brands work well too. It says it can be used on dry skin but I prefer to use it on damp skin, massage and then rinse off. Feels nice on the skin. I’m not a heavy make-up user but this seems to remove everything. Apparently it uses Himalayan spring water which is high in calcium, magnesium and potassium as well as sunflower seed oil and vitamin E. No strong scents. Card box and plastic tube.
