“I purchased the DayDream extension because it&s not as thick as the original Hidden Crown halo, thinking that it would look more natural and I could wear it in everyday situations. However, it&s much longer at 18 inches than the original halo style, which is 12 inches. I had to have my hairstylist cut it so that it would blend better with my real hair. Something about it has never quite looked right, and so when I purchased my new Hidden Crown for 2018, I went back to the 12 inch original style halo.
I wish Hidden Crown would create halos in shorter styles that offer fullness as opposed to length. I love adding the extra length for special occasions but would value a shorter option for every day use, such as at the office.
That said, the quality of both styles that I have tried is superb, the color is perfectly matched, you cannot see the halo wire, and most people just think my hair looks especially good that day. The key is just to take your time in fitting it to your head before you tie off the wire and trim it down. The halo doesn&t damage your hair the way clip-in extensions or semi-permanent extensions do. (I&ve tried both and they&ve really damaged my fine hair.) I&ll never use anything other than Hidden Crown products now!”
“If you have shorter hair, the ends of these extentions are too thin to blend with your hair. It looks like a mullet. You almost HAVE to spend extra money on a second hair + a crown topper. Three stars because when you spend about two hours it will eventually blend and it looks very nice.”
