“Just over a week before my mother’s 80th birthday I ordered her a Daily Telegraph birthday book. It arrived with days to spare and she was delighted with it (and has now bought an A4 magnifier to make it easier to read). It’s brought back lots of memories for her.”
“The production values are exceptional. Some of the type in each newspaper page is hard to read because the product is roughly 60% of the size of a broadsheet newspaper, so it might not be suitable for long-sighted people. Otherwise, no issues.”
“This has proved to be an excellent birthday present. I bought this for my wife who now reads it regularly. Ideal for "dipping into" the only drawback occurs with interesting stories ending with the dreaded "continued on page x:" ! As we only have the one page we ate left in frustrated suspense ! (Start year is 1953 - younger benefactors may get a few more pages for their buck)
I would certainly be delighted if somebody reciprocated”
