“A really unusual gift well presented and the personalisation makes it feel very individual (which sounds obvious) My dad is 90 so the book is quite thick! The book is not full size broadsheet so the print is quite small particularly on the papers from 1930s when there was a lot of detail on the front pages so a magnifying glass will be required. Overall, very satisfied.”
“We waited nearly two weeks for the book, paid for priority delivery, was told it had been despatched, but nobody seemed to know where it was. Having then read other people’s reviews decided to cancel. Was surprised that they immediately cancelled the order and advised they would refund me in 7/10days. This just tells me that my order was never started, never mind dispatched. Really disappointed as it was an 80th birthday present for my father.”
“This was a 70th birthday present and having read some reviews that said the quality of the reproduction wasn’t great I was a bit nervous - however I am delighted with the book. It is well produced, well packaged (I bought the gift box) and a wonderful gift. Some of the pages are not so clear to read but this is entirely in line with printing some of the older editions from a microfiche. Would highly recommend!”
