I've ordered from them MANY times now, complex newspaper orders, that require detailed research, and they've never disappointed in the least. Archivist John is just an incredible, hard working source for total customer satisfaction, along with the extremely kind and accomodating office staff of Dawn, Emma, Claudia and Julie. And the shipping! In an absolutely incredible 72 HOURS - without fail - from their Scotland warehouse to my home in NJ USA.
That being said, unfortunately, their prices have gone up considerably in the last 6 months, and this has made my ordering from them far less frequent, although I still do wait for their awesome 20% specials. Am hoping time will bring some easing to their pricing. One can only wish, because in terms of giving the customer what they want, Historic Newspapers really is that fine a company.
