“I've taken a while to review this light, as I don't ride a lot at night and wanted to wait until I'd had a chance to do a lengthy night ride. I've now ridden the Numinbah Valley at night, and can report that this light is seriously bright, and a huge improvement on the OEM headlight. The Ducati Monster 659/696/795/1100 series have a unique headlight, and this light is a direct replacement. Some disassembly of the original light is required, but installation is a relatively simple task. My first indication of the brightness of this light was a very occasional headlight flash from oncoming motorists who thought I was on high beam. Since visibility is an important function of a motorbike headlight, I'm cool with the tiny minority of drivers with sensitive retinas. If I had one criticism, it would be that high beam is not a great deal brighter than low, but overall this is an excellent light.”
