“Assembling the Solo was not difficult since you have well written instructions along with a video tutorial see the steps. No problems putting it together with one person. When it comes to placing onto a Trailpax roof rack and fastening it becomes quite a bit more timely. I strongly recommend a ratcheting wrench because the area is very difficult to reach at times even with the front roof hatches removed. I was able to lift the tent using a portable winch attached to my ceiling in my garage. I used small pvc piping in between the tent frame and the roof rack which made it easy to move the tent back and forth during placement and they were easy to remove. Note do not center the tent on your roof from side to side because you won’t be able to use your side ladder entrance especially if you have rotorpax heavy duty reinforced sides. The ladder when hooked up will not clear the Trailpax roof racks. It’s necessary to place the edge of the RTT even with the drivers side to make room for the ladder to sit stable on the ground. Other than that the tent works great…you might consider placing some interior loops on the ceiling stitch area to run paracord to hang a few things.”
“Very poor + frustrate how the product was delivered and arrived! Communication by email still -2, tried as much I could to engage to get fixed and just had my last email without nobody respond.
I paid for the tent to be delivered to my door, but when the delivery arrived there was only one driver and I carried the heavy box to my door (check image of the truck). After open the box I found on the top shelve many parts broken as you can see the images. The ladder was not assembled correctly,
Not being possible to use in safe and not painful way without hurt the feet.
One of the two latch locks is broken and does not hold the top shelve close, so I can’t close the tent and keep it safe. I contacted by email, by the support link and after one month jot a final return with properly solve problem.
One month has passed and the company Ikamper has not contacted me!
It’s disturbing the seller not care about the customer for an expensive tent even after charge for a deliver and not make the company deliver as it was paid for the service.
You guys don't correct the problems and ignore the client!
If the company Ikamper does not write to me and fix the problem, I will leave a lot of bad reviews and will recommend everyone to never buy anything from the company. if you buy from Ikamper - you buy problems and terrible customer service!!!!”
