“What a beautiful campsite and a what wonderful holiday we had there, so much so we want to return again next year! A picturesque location set amongst woodlands on the edge of a river in the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche Natural Park. A campsite with its own restaurant - l'Auberge, renowned for its cuisine really sets this place apart. Accommodation is of a high standard with almost all units being new and modern. Facilities are again of a very high standard and immaculately clean. There are numerous activities available on-site for children and adults. It has own lake where you can help yourself to the kayaks available which provided hours of fun for my children. Even though our stay was during the peak season, it never felt oversubscribed thus giving it a very relaxed atmosphere. A very happy holiday indeed!”

Les Ranchisses, and the Ardèche region as a whole, is a bit of a hidden gem which is easily missed by those dashing by to get to the south coast. For charm, relaxation and exploration, this is fab!
