“The refill cylinders are extremely easy to use and replace. They perform consistently every time, and I get many bottles carbonated with one cylinder.”
“There's not much I can say about these cylinders. What I can say is how much I enjoy being able to carbonate my own drinks at home, and the process is made all the better with these cylinders from Drinkmate. The fact that they give you credit for each cylinder you return to them makes it even better. I've been a customer of theirs for years and keep coming back!”
“The DrinkMate exchange program is intentionally confusing so they can milk you for money. When I log in through my account, DrinkMate prices the 2-cylinders at $59.99. When my wife accesses the website, they are $55.99. You have to keep up with coupons, not to mention mailing and returning and need more cylinders.
SodaStream is willing to accept, on a one-time basis, Drinkmake cylinders in exchange. Then you can exchange for $15/each in person at almost any Walmart or Target store. I don't intend to use DrinkMate moving forward, it feels like a complicated cash grab.
That said, the cylinders work fine and shipping time was reasonable.”
Hi Samuel,
We are very disappointed to hear this. Our two-pack of cylinders was discounted during the holiday sales season at $55.99; they are $59.99 normally and are now back at their standard price.
We do not intend to make the process intentionally confusing, the cylinders are priced in a way that makes it more cost-effective when you order more cylinders, and likewise when returning empty cylinders.
While we are disappointed you don't intend to use our mail-exchange service moving forward, we do understand that for some customers it is more convenient to exchange in-person. The pricing of our mail exchange program does take into account the to & from shipping costs, which in-store exchange does not have to account for. Thank you for understanding, we hope our service can be of service to you in the future.
Cheers,
“I love my Drinkmate. I used to dread buying all those bottles of seltzer and dragging them home every week. Now all I do is order the refill co2 canisters and I can make my seltzer at home. It's so much better now. I'm disabled and on Oxygen so I can't do what I used to do. This way saves me money, time, also my apartment is small so I hardly need any room doing it this way. It really is the best way to have delicious sparkling seltzer(and other drinks) right at home.”
