“This is so much better than having to buy carbonated water, and the exchange program is easy and convenient. My only complaint is the inconsistency of charges you get out of the refills and the exaggerated "up to 240 one-liter bottles". I've been a customer for about 7 months, and on average, use 1 tank per week. With some bottles, I only get 3 or 4 days, and the maximum number of 1-liter bottles I've gotten out of a single tank is 32. Sometimes I can actually feel that a 'new' tank is lighter than the other ones in the same box. A few months ago I got an entire shipment and had to change the tanks every 2 days. Kudos to Drinkmate on that one though, because I voiced my concern and they sent me a replacement 4-pack at no charge. I was strictly a Perrier drinker before discovering Drinkmate, so even though I may only get about half of the advertised bottles per refill, this still saves me money over having a dozen cases of Perrier delivered every month, and the amount of hassle with all those recyclable Perrier bottles and cardboard boxes that I'm not going through is worth it to me. However, If I was OK with regular store brand seltzer, I'd likely not be a Drinkmate customer just because of the inconsistency, but this has been the only acceptable substitute for Perrier that I've found.”
